Paging Christopher Walken As Bruce Dickinson of the Day: A protester calling for the recall of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker was arrested last week after attempting to write an Oshkosh police officer an unsolicited prescription for more cowbell.
The 26-year-old from Appleton refused to heed the officer’s request to quit his cowbell ringing outside a restaurant on Oshkosh Avenue. The officer was responding to a noise complaint from the restaurant’s patrons.
In lieu of laying down the cowbell, the young demonstrator decided instead to shake it in the officer’s face.
When the policeman moved in to seize the cowbell, the man became aggressive and pushed the officer. He was subsequently “directed” to the ground, and arrested.
Clearly he was under the influence of some sort of fever.
